Mango Lassi

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mango puree 
  • 1 cup plain yogurt (preferably whole milk yogurt for creaminess)
  • 1/2 cup milk (adjust for desired consistency)
  • 2-3 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Mango Puree:

  • Canned mango puree can be used.

2. Blend the Ingredients:

  • In a blender, combine the mango puree, plain yogurt, milk, sugar, and ground cardamom (if using).

3. Adjust Consistency:

  • Blend until smooth. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add more milk until you reach your desired thickness.

4. Taste and Adjust:

  • Taste the mango lassi and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if needed. Blend again briefly to mix.

5. Serve:

  • Pour the mango lassi into glasses. If desired, add ice cubes for a chilled drink.

6. Garnish:

  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves or a sprinkle of ground cardamom and nuts on top.

7. Enjoy:

  • Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing mango lassi!

Tips:

  • For a vegan version, you can substitute yogurt and milk with plant-based alternatives like coconut yogurt and almond milk.
